A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies . . . The man who never reads lives only one.” – George R.R. Martin
Initially I was just like any one who hates reading.Especially if the book contains English text.I don’t read even the academic books. All I do is hear the stories and write them in my Examinations.
The high school Novel , “The Scarlet Pimpernel”, induced slight interest initially. Then I left it there, Since none in my circle knows about / had knowledge about the Novels.
It was during my College days, I was really impressed by “Nisha” and the stories she used to tell me.She insisted me to start reading .She is the one who refers a lot of books for me till now.I am glad that I obeyed her and I am a book Lover now 🙂 .
If you ask me , what kind of memory you will cherish for a Life time?, My answer would be “Reading my favorite Book, in one of the Nature’s Masterpiece”
You may read any genre of books, either Tamil or English or the language of your choice, but Reading is really Important.I will Tell you Why.. My recent book was Origin by Dan Brown. In that book he had mentioned about Grishneshwar Temple Drop.I had visited the Temple few months Back, but never had a clue about it. So i started searching for the answer,I got the answer as well .
If you are reading books, your mind will ask many questions like Why ?, How ? Where? What? all around the information provided in the Book.
If you aren’t reading books, then your mind will ask questions like , What others will think about me?, What ? Why? How? and Where? all around You and Your family
The former question brings finite answers and increase the number of Convolutions in your Brain. Whereas the Latter would definitely bring Controversy and at worser lever might shatter your happiness.
